If your process requires a great deal of information to be immediately available on products downstream, a label or tag may be the solution.

Our solutions have the capability of printing serial numbers, barcodes, data matrix codes, product descriptions, and more, as dictated by your Level 1 or Level 2 system. Configurations that mark on ambient all the way up to 1800°F (1000°C) are available.

Standard System Components

  • The robot scans the product to locate each band, then positions the debanding tool to grip, cut and remove it. The robot transfers the loose band to the strap winder without requiring manual handling.

  • The cabinet houses the controls that coordinate the robot, debanding tool, strap winder and safety devices. PLC and HMI interfaces can be integrated with existing mill and material-handling controls for commands, status information and alarms.

    Electrical Cabinet

  • Fencing

  • Radian programs each system around the product dimensions, band configurations, removal sequence and production-line requirements. Customized scanning and exception-handling routines help the robot manage inconsistent band positions and recover when a band requires another attempt.
